Looking forward to the top PS4 exclusive games this 2017?
Here’s our take on what could be the biggest hitters on the PS4 this year.
With the past years of the current gen console library, game titles seem to have gone the HD Remaster treatment owing to the lack of definitive must haves this generation.
All that is set to change this 2017, with a number of great PS4 exclusives slated for launch during the year.
Horizon Zero Dawn
The Killzone developer Guerilla Games and its ability to deliver on graphics powerhouses sure brings the promise of a great PS4 exclusive slated to launch in Feb 2017.
The game is based on the Decima Engine – a proprietary game engine developed by the wizards at GG.
With early impressions and review copies already being favorably received, we can’t wait to get our hands on the first AAA major exclusive early on this year.
2. Persona 5
Persona 5 is among the most anticipated of the JRPG lineup in 2017.
In typical Persona series history, the story revolves around a group of teenagers in high school in Tokyo. Regular teens by day and hidden personas by night.
Stories intertwine between these two parallel universes to create a brew of mystery and excitement. You explore dungeons, collect demons, and fuse personas together to create new, more powerful creatures.
A fresh take on the Pokemon mechanics that we cannot wait to get our hands on this year!
3. Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
The Crash Bandicoot trlogy is finally getting the love and attention it deserves in the form of a remaster.
Crash Bandicoot is a series that every old school PSOne gamer holds very close to their hearts.
Hopefully, the remake brings back all the wonderful memories that the marsupial in jorts is well known for!
4. Gran Turismo Sport
Gran Turismo Sport is the next instalment in the series with its first PS4 debut expected this year.
The series aims to make gaming a much more rewarding. You can compete and win real life goodies in the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile-sponsored racing competitions.
In contrast to its competition, the game seeks gameplay depth while adding on a slew of social features into the mix.
5. Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
Ni No Kuni’s critical acclaim and praise from fans earned it a follow up title on the PS4.
However, the series will feature an all new cast of characters in the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell.
Seems like the signature trademarks of a Studio Ghibli game are all present here.
- Likeable and quirky cast of characters? Check
- Multilanguage options? Check
- Battle arenas? Check
- Art style and great music? Check!
Hopefully, they crank up the gameplay system…and bring down the brutal difficulty!
6. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
A chapter in the Uncharted series follows fan favorite Chloe Frazer treasure hunting through the back allies of Indian cities.
Most noteworthy though, is a slightly darker tone from its predecessors.
And we’re not complaining!
Furthermore, the Playstation Experience reveal of the game last year kept fans on the edge. We can’t wait to get our hands on this later this year!
